What happeaned to this Rock of Chaos anyway? I remember in Dragons of Summer Flames about it bursting into "new" stars toward the end, but concidering the Dark Queen's deception (ie steal the world and impersonating the other god's avatars, telling mortals the Gods left) can one be sure the Greygem is either destroyed or floating in space or some distant plane? If's final fate is not every clear.

Ive been work on something that involves some "forgotten" items called the Hammer and Axe of Kal-Thax (so forgotten that even Reorx barely remembers their exsistance), created by the "Smiths," their purpose was to destroy the Greygem. Something that fortunately never happeaned for obvious reasons. Unfortunatley, someone does know the location of one of the artifacts and has deceived a Chaos Daemon that they know the location of the Greygem (a lie ofcourse). This individual has no intention of breaking the Greygem even if he or she knew where it was (if it's still around).
No this person has another use for the "Hammer" that involves another stone. The Theory: Smash this certain large stone with this Hammer and you will may kill the world.
"The heart stops and the world will die."

Its rather obvious what the PCs will have to do. Good thing for a little guidence from eccentric dwarf called Dougan Redhammer, who stumbled on the key to the Hammer's location (literally). He wants to give the Hammer to Thorbardin, but he's in competion with some dwarves from Thoradin being manipulated by the Chaos Deamon.

How is this for a theory.

Supposedly the Greygem detonated and its fragments became the stars in the new Krynnspace in the middle of the ethereal plane... more or less.

What if, although the parts of the Greygem are broken physically, they are still more or less connected in some manner. If the star dome is viewed of as a round bubble around Krynn, then in essence could the gem fragments be focal points of a network wrapped around Krynn pseudo-surrounding it in an enlarged non-solid Greygem?

What impact that means, I have no clue. Just a random thought from your friendly neighborhood weird person.... well... one of them anyway.
