Simple question: What would be a good way to introduce Psionics into my Ravenloft campaign?

Thaani refugees, I guess. There was a secret society in Forbidden Lore which dealt with the Thaani. Called the I'lld T'haan or something. Bluetspur would be good if the PC's are over 10th level.

Or a Psionic NPC. Perhaps even a villian.
It'd be an interesting foe to defeat if he uses these 'unknown powers' that bypass magical defenses and the like.

A good way to introduce psionics to Ravenloft, especially if you want to be subtle and gradual about it, is to allow some of the NPC seers your party meets to be psions. There predictions will be uncannily accurate, and PCs (who are notoriously suspicious about such things) won't be able to detect any magic coming from them... Or you could get the party in touch with a secret society of "mentalists" who need their help and offer to train them in the psychic arts in return.

If you want to be a little more blatant, you could introduce an ancient artifact that opens up "strange and terrible powers of the mind" to its wielder, essentially forcing someone in the party to take at least one level of psion or psychic warrior. I used this to good effect in another campaign setting a few years back; it was very fun to watch the player wonder what weird powers he would get if he took another level in the class.

Hope that helps.

Interestingly, the current 3e take (if the RLDMG is any indication) is that there are a fair number of psionically-talented fakirs in Sri Raji.

Another take might be putting a group akin to the Society for Psychical Research (look them up) in Paridon or another domain advanced in technology and/or scientific research. Having it surface in Lamordia might be particularly ironic and invite potential involvement from the Syndicate of Enlightened Citizens...

I would like to thank all of you for your speedy replies to my inquiry. Sadly, I must admit that my Ravenloft campaign is going to be placed on the back burner for awhile.

After seeing Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King today(You simply MUST see this movie.) I am going to be running regular Tolkien style DnD campaigns for the rest of the winter seasons with a few weekends in hell(Ravenloft).
