Cool. Alternative Planescape.

...Honestly, with all of these planar products coming out in 2004, why the bloody did they bother dropping the PS line?

Foolishness, bah.

Looks awesome. Though sadly, looks like they're forced to avoid anything that appeared in planescape. Oh well, they also said it's modular, and who knows, maybe it'll rule on its own. Besides, it's written by the Planescape crew, so quality is assured.

Interesting, hey anybody know anything about the Legends and Lairs planes book?

Couldn't the new product co-exist with the Planescape cosmology? They mentioned that there are elements of this release that were left out of the original planescape...

Thats what I was thinking. Hell, they could be yet undiscovered planes. Kinda like some primes (i.e. new settings I buy) I just put them in as yet undiscovered.

I am very much looking forward to it. That is, I NEED IT NOW!

I think mostly the new planes and monsters could be added into planescape by just incorporating them as planar sites and new creatures in the Great Wheel (or elsewhere). I'm guessing the prestige classes will be rather easy to fit in, and the spells and feats will be even easier. These are our favorite planescape guys, so I think they'll probably be thinking, at least somewhat of ease-of-planescapification when they write it.
