I didn't find anything on wild psionic talents in DS3... is it here somewhere? If not, any sugestions? The old fashion "give a little power for everyone" was suppressed?

I'm still starting with the psionics rules, never used them before, but either way for our first DS campaign we're gonna need some psionics, otherwise it's not Dark Sun...

There are options for such, but they are not offered in the DS core from Athas.org. A quick search through these threads as well as those in the psionic threads will net some wild talent variant rules that can give you a start in the right direction.

Just wanted to be sure if there wasn't anything in the core books. If people are still discussing the matter I'll figure it out myself.

Thanks

there's a Psionic Handbook you know =)

Wildtalent is a [Psionic] feat that allows you to use a 0-level Power a few times every day.

You will find two variants of wild talent feats in the Feats chapter in the DS3 Core Rules at athas.org.

Specifically, you're not going to find anything that gives out free psionic powers as Wild Talents, as you would in DS[12]. In 3e, you don't get to have something for nothing ... if you want a WT, you have to pay for it.

Hence, the Talented and Wild Talent feats. Anything beyond that, you'd best take levels as a psion. (Some board members have put forth systems that would allow you to have higher level powers as a wild talent ... however, the balance implications of that could be quite dramatic)

And, of course, all that said ... the 3.5 Psionic HB is due out in April. There may be something new in there.
