In the Lost Histories Book "Land of the Minotaurs" Kaz's axe becomes a Dragonlance during a battle with a red who was masquerading as the high priest. I was curious where I could find info on his axe. It is not in the DLCS as far as I know.

Honour's face doesn't have any published stats that I am aware of... Though I am sure it will appear in one of the upcoming gaming books...

who made the Axe? I know it was hinted at that the guy who made the dragonlances also created the Axe, but I'm not sure. what was that 4th race that this guy was suppose to be? Huma thought he recognized human, elf, and dwarf, but he also recognized something else. Anyone Know what the forth was? I always got the impression it was dragon, but it could have been Irda since they where hinted at as the creators of the lttle dragon statue in Magius' tower (although they weren't ever mentioned specifically).

thanks

So the Axe (I read the book long time ago) actually became a dragonlance physically, or it had the same properties and magical powers as a dragonlance?

I know it became one physically, but you never really find out if it became one "magically" also. I have mixed feelings myself, because we never really see it hit that red dragon a good solid hit. It always hit the wing or something. I "believe" it did though, because I believe that is what the axe was "created" to do (not originally maybe, but definately in the Land of Minotaurs). The powers of the Axe have always been a mystery, with Kaz finding them very rarely (and over years of time).

I was always under the impression that it was forged out of dragonmetal anyhow...

I just read the description of the axe. It, for all game purposes, becomes a Dragonlance. This is accomplished by a full round action of concentrating on Kaz's part, or the attack of an oncoming red while on the back of a silver dragon that he just saved.

I thank everyone for your help. Also, can anyone point me in the right direction for the creation of artifacts? I'm thinking of making an awesome vamp murdering spear, but I don't know the rules for the creation of artifacts.

Look no further than Ravenloft's "Heartseeker" spear for the ultimate vampire slaying weapon. A hit on a vampire is always to the heart.
