Hey guys. I got the new Dragonlance CS for Xmas and I was reading it today. It says that the Tower of High Sorcery at Palanthas is gone, but Shoikan Grove remains still. What happened to the tower, can anyone fill me in? Is the explanation somewhere else in the book that I am not looking?

Since you seem unconcerned about spoilers....

Dalamar moved the Tower to Nightlund early in the Fifth Age when Palin warned him that Khellendros was coming to try and seize it for it's magic.

I think I wanna build a new Tower in Palanthas. Or at least Dalamar does. Maybe he'll get someone else to do it for him....

Well he's the only one I know of who can access the Shoikan grove. Yet he could probably create a charm for whoever he dupes into building the tower for him.

Or perhaps he finds a way to travel into the past or other dimensions of Krynn and bring the tower back from where he hid it or where it was.

Well, it has been locked by the gods of magic. If Dalamar did some kind of magical trick to get it back, bypassing their orders, he'd probably be in for a load of divine hurting!

I wonder if Nuitari will still be able to claim favored hold over it now, or if the other gods will demand more equal access. It's possible that a dispute over that is why it's taking so long for the matter of the Towers to be settled (Wayreth also being "offline").
