What Are Jasidans?

Dec 30, 2003 17:55:23 I've seen the term Jasidans a few times here and in an article at Canofire!, always mentioned in passing. Who or what are the Jasidans? Where are they now? The only hint in the name seems to point to Wee Jas, which would also indicate a Suel origin or slant. But I don't know.

Personally, I think it sounds odd and prefer the term, 'Jasidians'. Maybe that was what was originally intended.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure it was a chatdemon thing as he has a fetish for the goddess of Death and Magic.

Dec 31, 2003 8:44:45 I like "Jasidians" better, too. It has better sound. I've seen it used, too. Samwise mentioned them in passing when discussing the "Slerotin's Tunnel" thread. So I'm not sure if they are magic users, clerics or both.

Jasidans are simply those who follow Wee Jas, as you correctly guessed.

Nope. It's canon from the Scarlet Brotherhood accessory, one of the few bits of lore from that product that I actually liked.

Sure, if anyone is curious about the sources or inspiration for my articles, I welcome the feedback and/or questions. Honestly though, my attention has drifted to other topics in Greyhawk lore lately, and I'm not much inspired to craft an epic article for Canonfire! or a in depth post here on aspects of my Jasidan faith which may in fact not interest Greyson or others at all. I am more than open to specific questions or topics of discussion though.

And as some folks here can surely attest, I'm much more creative and eager to get the Greyhawk discussions going in the GreyTalk chat, but I'll try and field any questions here to the best of my ability.
