As for the game, $9.99 for the individual game, and $19.99 for the Battle Chest, which contains Starcraft, The Brood War expansion pack, and strategy guides for both games.

There are three paperback novels and some e-novels, as well as two short stories in Amazing Magazine (which is now out of print).

Of the three paperbacks, do not waste your money on Shadow of the Xel'Naga.

In fact, Star*Craft ALTERNITY sucked too , which is really sad because Star*Craft rocks and ALTERNITY rocked too.

I dind't mind the star craft rpg game, it is actually how I teach new groups to play the game and then we add in all the other books and more intense rules after one night of playing. It was a good idea if they would have just supported it.

Alas, I could have done the whole thing myself. I was really hoping to at least see rules for Protoss characters (in a game with Werens as a core race, balancing them should not have been too difficult) but even those weren't there.

I would like to see a right up on the Protos. It would make an excellent Psi -Corp type campaiagn.

Imagine that, I future species that relies on regenerative shields as opposed to armor!!

I liked playing StarCraft.....it would be good to see some conversions.

They tried to convert it, but they made a D effort and got an F result.

This shouldn't discourage you though.
