The DL comic series was 34 issues, and was printed by DC Comics.

And there are 5 graphic novels.

That's really about it until the first issue of the LoH adaptation comes out later this month.

In my opinion, "Landfall," "The Dragonring Saga," "The Gathering," "Sword of the Kinslayer," and "On Death of Pain" are by far the best.

Then they canceled the series.

Also don't forget that there was a single issue 5th Age comic, released by TSR themselves. Supposedly a limited edition, but they are still pretty common around the traps.

If all you wanted was a simple listing, you could've checked my site. It is nothing special, but I keep novel/gaming listings as up to date as possible. It can't hurt to look....or maybe it can.

Upon further review...I don't believe Riva Silverblade can be the same woman (albeit, incorrectly named), Riva Silvercrown.

Silverblade is still alive in the DLCS...which means, if it truly was Riva Silvercrown from the comics...she'd have to be 100 years old...roughly.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Assuming she was at youngest 18 when the heroes met after the five year absence at the Inn, it is hard to see her still alive and kicking.

So a daughter maybe or a niece???

It's the same character, but considering the Dragonlance comics aren't considered to be part of the official canon and this kind of borrowing has been done before (Iryl Songbrook and the others from the DLE modules were resurrected for use in the Citadel of Light for SAGA, for example), I think the discrepancies have been handwaved.

I am gonna pretend that I didn't read this...

Because the least the team could have done (if it was meant to be the same person) was get the name right.

I am.

Sorry...that "I'm gonna pretend I'm didn't hear that" comment wasn't supposed to be taken maliciously. Granted, that's usually how that statement is given...but this time, I just meant it in happy ignorance. :D

That hasn't stopped other characters, I mean what about Kronin Thistleknot, some of Toede's immortality must have rubbed off on him.

Help!! can someone pleae explain more about Toede and this immortality thing. I caught it in the age of mortals book but, they didn't go into great depth and didn't supply character stats and stuff. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have the same access to the novels over here as I would have back in the states. I only just got the War of Souls a month ago and that was the original hard cover copy. Are there plans by Sovereign to publish books of source material similar to the mainstream stuff but, tailored to Dragonlance? I mean more about the individual races and such. Is Taladas going to make a comeback? Is it's existence even Canon?

Actually, I believe that they eventually decided that the two were _not_ the same character.
