I am destroyd, broken and shattered as a mirror, as a glass pillar holding the roof of a temple dedicated to Dragonlance... What the hell was that..Dragonlance Core book??, Dragonalce Age of Mortals book?? i got them, and they are BAAAD!!, i have every single book of dragonlance game material since it started, eaven Fifth Age, and it was all great. But the new stuff i waited for such a long time...aggrrrh..its awfull. No mater the Large fonts, little Text, ENORMUS Side Margins on every page, no mater "No map", But why didnt we get any info on the Knightly orders, why!!!!??. Only the info for creating the Knightly classes, but no order direction for the future, no curent rulers, no nothing!!! the Books are empty, they have no soul and are damn stupid, i cant use them in my campagin one bitt. I mean, if you Write a Trilogy of books, that influance the entire world, as Well the Main Orders of the world, The Overlords, the Knights, and the Wizards why dont you write the campagin books that have some info on what happens NEXT. Oh oh, and the 80% of NPC in both books they wrote up are DEAD!!!!!! what do i do with dead Characters !!!! Rig, Fiona, Goldmoon, etc, etc, I could pass with no info about the World all together in the main book, but what about the Age of Mortals!!!!, Nothing, i know nothing, no...i hate them...i hate them all...not becouse i spend the money on the books, the money, but my waisted time, lost dreams and hopes. I hate Forgoten realms, but ther Core Book is AWESOME!!!!, so much text and so much info. But nooo Dragonlance team decided to write something new. One more thing, Can someone tell me for Pitty SAKE!!, why are the infos on Majore cityes and Realms so Empty!¨!!!!!, they say nothing!!, nothign. And Finaly!!, Where is the Great city of Palanthas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, not in the Core rule book (just a few line about how many people live in it), not eaven Age of Mortals book,...is Palanthas now on Taladas????, should i wait for Dragonalce Taladas core rule book to read about Palanthas, who rules it, what hapend to that reagian after the fall of the great Overlord Skie, shuld i buy MORE booooks!! shuld i just drop my dragonlance in to the Trash and cut my wrist..no..its not worth it.

Not only are the books bad, with no info on the changes of the world, and how to run the campagin forward, the books have nothing to offer to me or my players, and mind you to 100 people i have shown the books on the Croatian RPG Conference last year.

I love Dragonlance, that is why i wrote all this, am so badly hurt by these products i cant imagine anything good comming from future books.

Thank you

No sweat, Slayer. Nobody gets shot for their opinions. More and better things are coming, and this is the year of Dragonlance's 20th anniversary. Many wrinkles are being smoothed out, lots of things are being planned, Dragonhelm's going to be instrumental in bringing the Legend of Huma to comic fans everywhere and I'm going to continue getting even older.

So, while I'm personally sorry to hear there were problems with the book for you, I hope you stick around and share in the discussions.

Cheers,
Cam

Am glad you understand me. eaven with my bad english typing. So, will the knightly orders be dealth with in the future, i mean ther position, Rulership, who leads them, atc. And will there be anything about Palanthas. (to tell you the truth i have writen much about fifth age dragonlance over the last 4 years, and abotu the knightly orders and Palanthas, but official stuff is still oficial stuff, if you know what i mean.? )

Ps. i was wandering if i may share my work with the dragonlance team, for maybe one day they can use it for offical dragonalce. I dont care about money, just for dragonlance growing. One more thing, just so you know am not just a fan, who writes sometimes for his campagin, i usualy write short Sf, and Fantasy storyes in my country (Croatia), and a work privatly as a Theater story writer and director. So i think i have made some quality material for ansalon.

anyway. Thank you again for understanding my pain about the books, it all comes from love for the thing

Jamie Chambers hinted on the Dragonlance-L mailing list that there may be a book on the knights sometime in the future. I’m sure that the info you’re looking for would be in there.

Also, if you’ve written DL materials, feel free to submit them to the Nexus (see my sig).

Hey Slayer don't be upset. For all we know there is too much information of the Orders to be put into the DLCS.

For all we know sovereign press is going to make a book that discusses all the knightly orders.

The Knights of Solamnia, Knights of Takhisis\Neraka, Knights of the Divine Hammer, and who knows maybe there are other less known knightly orders.

Maybe an ergothian order.

And if sovereign press is not making this sourcebook, perhaps you couls start a petition in order to get them to. Just make suree they do not try to include the measure in it's entirety.

There's the Order of the Gold Lance, from Unsung Heroes.

If I had my way, we'd also have the Knights of the Heart. Alas, that may remain a part of fandom. ;)

Is the Knights of the Heart your personal creation Dragonhelm? If so, would you mind posting them on my new Dragonlance fanboards ? It seems like I am off to a rough start I just made the boards today. I took your F.A.Q. and placed it there too I hope you don't mind.

Yep, the Knights of the Heart are my own creation. Here's a link:Knights of the Heart

Feel free to have a link to that, if you wish. Also, no problem on the FAQ. Please reference the original source, though.

Steveck uth Drastin.

His ancestor, Drastin, disagrees with the knighthood on some issues, so he breaks away from them forming his own little mini-knighthood. I think, at best, they have a dozen members.

I will copy and post them onto my boards. And don't worry people will know who the original creator of both the FAQ and the KotH is. :D
