Hi,

I've recently bought a "A Light in the Belfry" adventure, and found out that there is no transcript of the spoken part of the CD. I remember Kargatane having it, but they are down. Maybe somebody here can mail me a copy?

Let us know if someone sends you the file. I don't have it anymore, but I do have the 27 page hard-copy printout. I could scan it & send it if no one still has the original zip file....

I have sent my RTF version of the original ASCII transcript ('cause boy, did that sucker need cleaning up).

Would there be legal issues with me making it available on my website?

I'm afraid it is, Brandi, as is sharing something saved before it went out on the net...

It was put out of the K site as they were not anymore the official fan web site.

Thanks a lot. It IS a great help.

As for posting it on the web - well, _technically_, this text does not repeat any part of the adventure (since there was no transcript included inside), so I think it is OK for it to be available. Unless, of course, WoTC says otherwise.

I'll make it short :

It is copyrighted property. Period.

But the K had permission to have it on the SotK, or was that specially granted permission?

Whoops, my apologies. FWIW, my RTF file is simply a cleaned-up version of the ASCII one that used to be available at SotK; if someone who can legitimately host it wants to I will turn it over to them.

Am I the only person who actually liked A Light in the Belfry?

Well, It's not bad, but nothing special.

I liked the idea of darkness/cold, and the general "feel" of the mansion - that's what I'm going to use. The rest of the adventure sure needs some work.
