Ok... I have the CD, and have been considering using it to help run my upcoming 2nd Edition games. Problem is, that all the wikkidly good sites (like Fantaseum) that used to have all the .xpt and .xpx files available for download seem to have vanished out of cyberspace. Please, if you have a verified, working link for a site that hosts .xpt or .xpx files, I would love to see it!! Thanks in advance! I've had the same problem. I've also lost my old DAT backup. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Lord_Svengali Date : 07-29-07 02:00 AM Thread Title : Re: AD&D Core Rules 2 - where are the addons? Do you use DC++? Then just put it on your hard drive and tell us your nick and what hub you are on and we'll go download from you. Or msn live works nice too. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : chatdemon Date : 07-31-07 05:41 PM Thread Title : Re: AD&D Core Rules 2 - where are the addons? http://rotd.rpgclassics.com/downloads/cr2.shtml That's a working site with a decent collection of CR2x downloads. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : shadzar Date : 07-31-07 09:37 PM Thread Title : Re: AD&D Core Rules 2 - where are the addons? i have everything i could get my grubby little sockets on on a CD or two, but don't know that i want to put them up for uploading or where if i would even want to try. You are not familliar with DC++ I guess. You do not give access to the harddrive, but you create a place on the harddrive that people can access to. And not go in and edit or take stuff permanently or even add stuff to, but only to download from. So you give permission to _download_ from _only_. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 9] Author : shadzar Date : 08-01-07 10:59 AM Thread Title : Re: AD&D Core Rules 2 - where are the addons? And not go in and edit or take stuff permanently or even add stuff to, but only to download from. So you give permission to _download_ from _only_. it would make more sense to just open port 80 on my gateway and turn on my windows based webserver to accept http requests and stick a CD in my drive, or put them on my full webserver (when i turn it on again after i replace the old fans) and have people just go to www.shadzar.com and let them download the files from there. the thing is i DONT want to run a fileserver due to bandwidth concerns. that is why i was wondering where to put them. i can do it, but as soon as the masses find them i would be flooded with port calls that might impede my personal use of my internet connection. ;) i guess one large file or several that are archived would work. but i wont try uploading them individually. also RARing them into split archives is always a pain if you only want say the vampire kender part and have to wait for them all before you can extract just the one. and my poor temp site has only 5 megs of storage space which is almost full, and my OTHER website ( www.kcrew.org/~shadzar ) with pretty much unlimited space is not working correctly at the moment either and would pose those same bandwidth concerns a well. :( EDIT: ok well maybe the kcrew one is working now, but sitll dont want to eat up the persons bandwidth that so graciously allowed me the storage space. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:23 AM.
