After some scanning thru some my recently found treasure trove of Greyhawk fanwork and similiar, I have now found a single item very worthy of attention.

Upon request for links to some of the solid Greyhawk content I have found, I link you to a formatted version of "Ivid the Undying" worked over by a one, William Allman. Mr. Allman has redone the lay-out from the original text document to a format that would appear much like that of a TSR released accessory, even including the maps among it's many pages!

Please, follow the link and download the pdf and gif as notated by the very last 2 links on the very bottom of the page in the downloads section. Very nice work here! Mr. Allman should be commended!

No prob guys. I'm actually quite surprised only a couple people were interested in this as I thought this board to be heavily Ivid / Sargent fans as I am.

I suppose the boards have been down for a lengthy time today, though. I think...

He deserves the praise if only SV games and other pdf compainies would take a page out of his book. Then there downloads would be worth the price.

All I know if Delglath finds this site he will surely enjoy it. The maps included was a big plus.

Thanks for the link, abysslin. That pdf looks much better than the rtf WotC has for download. I do wish that the composite map was better, but that's a small gripe.

Does anyone know where I can find the template for the Animus? I have the animus.rtf file from the Greyhawk Vault, but I've heard that a template was created for LGJ #2 or some such. Is there anyway I can get a copy of this? Thanks.

I think they gave away all the copies of the LGJs at WF this year. Erik might reprint some of the artilces in a Best of the the LGJ Greyhawk book depending on WOTC brass...

Oh man, this is great! I love Carl Sergeant, he did the third and fifth books for 'The Enemy Within' campaign for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (a campaign I'm working on to convert it to Greyhawk), and some great work on other aspects of WFRP.

I actually stumbled across that .pdf some time ago and I too thought it was outstanding. Especially since there never was an actual "official published" version of Ivid (why, I'll never know).

I actually went one better since I work in the printing industry, I cut and pasted up my own cover (for my personal collection) of this work and had it laminated and bound with the document with all the "official" looking logos, etc. It really makes me appreciate all the great amounts of work the e-fans out there have put into the Greyhawk setting.

Yeah, Carl Sargent was the shizzel when it came to really updating and breathing new life into the WOG setting. I like what Gygax did, and I also very much like what Sargent did (much of what Sargent did was from previous works of Gygax anyway!).

Ivid was a masterpiece and its a bloody shame it was never printed and released officially. I have also had it for many years and re-read it once a year or so, just for fun.

What is more, I even had a large (laminated) map of Ivid the Undying printed and it sits proudly on the wall next to my Iuz the Evil maps.
