In our campaign Im going to have my group in a huge battle with troops sent by Mina to kill Valthonis.

My group will win this battle but Paladine will be wounded badly and just as it seems he died an egg will be found inside of his carcass.

The egg will hatch very quickly and the multi-colored dragon will grow at an accelerated rate.

The Draco paladine will be a mortal dragon but massive in size and power. He will eventually become as a god again but this time one of Dragons of all colors. The Draconians and Dragons will all bow knee to him (except a few drawn to the power of some evil gods for instance I see the some Blacks going with Sargonnas the Black Minotaur).

My question is what would this new multi-colored Draco Paladine look like. What would a good alignment be, stats and the such for a full grown version. Also what would he look like as he ages and the such...

thanks

I may be mistaken...but I'm pretty sure that was a typo in the AoM book.

I think Sargonnas is supposed to be the "Red Minotaur" isn't he?

Trampas?

Perhaps he would be some sort of pearl color...like what a silver car would look like with a pearl clear coat.

So, his color could be platinum...but when the sun catches him just right, he's all the colors of the rainbow.

Just a thought.

I like the platinum/pearl coated idea brim,hehe.

When I red the War of Souls books they did call Sargas the Black Minotaur. He was a huge horbed, black furred Minotaur, though I could see red as well since he is a diety of Flame and not just minotaurs.

I believe that one of Sargonnas' avatars is indeed that of a black minotaur.

The Red Minotaur is the minotaur that Caramon fought when he traveled back in time in Legends.

In Unsung Heroes, there's a Red Minotaur pre-generated character. According to the entry, the term Red Minotaur is an honorary position - basically the champion of the games. They die their fur in a permanant red hair die.

Whoops. Went on a tangent there.

I'm very positive that the form of a black minotaur is correct. Of course, as a god, Sargonnas could assume just about any form he wishes.

True.

Well...does anyone remember what form he took (besides the Flaming Condor...which has no reference to his sexual preference) in Reavers of the Blood Sea?

When he first is seen on the ship The Vengence, he an extremely tall minotaur of a red color Ayrx had never seen before.

Of course later he takes human form usually with armor that had minotaur like designs.

Have Draco Paladine have been rewarded by the High God for his sacrifice with the honor of taking Ionathles place. He's therefore Io from the Cult of the Dragon sourcebook

Probably he should be All Alignments simultaneously (weird but true)

But his ultimate self is True Good

Full growth just use the Platnium dragon stats and give him a head for every dragon type

As an old school Dragonlance fan I would tend to make him Platinum which is cool in so many ways. The idea of making him look like a rainbow when the light hits him just right sounds great. His aligment would have to be LG. As for his stats it would be up to you. Personnaly I would make him powerfull (more powerefull than Malys's Stats) since he is a walking god and all. But you said he was wounded during the battle so you could rethink that and make him more "killable" at first and more powerfull as time passes by.
