I know a few have said they have issue navigating my site.

If that's true, got any suggestions for improving it?

Not going to be able to upgrade it to where I want till they upgrade the PHP on the server, so I'm stuck in old nuke mode for awhile.

If there is anything I can do to clean up the site some and make it easier to navigate, please let me know. (My site is in my sig btw)

If you have any suggestions on improving my site please email me at suggestions.

Danke.

P.S. If you have any other suggestions for the site you can email them there as well.

Sorry, but I can't seem to think of why someone would have an issue with your site's navigation. Nothing is more than two clicks away. The only thing I can think of is condencing some of the topics into more general catagories (combining both prestige class links together, templates and monsters together, just as examples).

(edit)

Misc link contains only your Mystic class, could be put in with Classes and Prestige Classes; House Rules contains only your feats, which could then just be renames feats instead of house rules.

Just some idle suggestions. Still, the sites great

Thanks Mach.

I actually want to expand on the Misc and House Rules section, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The others works too, but I'm trying to keep DS seperated from D20 and the like.

So check out what I did and see if that cleans it up some.

Keep the suggestions coming.

That works too ;)

I never had any trouble navigating your site to begin with, so I'm not real sure what the actual complaints would have been.

Had a few, keeping them private though, don't want to single anyone out.

Regardless, I'm ignoring all complaints from now on about poor site navigation. :P

Not much more I can do to it.

Ok, more updates for my site.

Cleaned up the nav menu some more and also added a personal category with a poetry section, been meaning to get my poetry stuff up for awhile, so there it be.

Also added a projects block to let people know what projects I am currently working on.

There it be.

Nyt,

I was wondering if i make some conversions of some of the NPC's out of the flip book adventures, if you would rip them apart and make them better?

What do you mean?

You'r asking if someone can rule-proof your conversions, recalculate the numbers to see if they're applied correctly...that kind of thing?

Nice one, Nyt - it captures the feel of the Sorak series perfectly. (Why, it's almost as if you were reading them at this very moment...heh heh)

I did a quick review for typos and structure (my usual picky picky ;) ) - I'll bounce you a mail...

(Also, coming along well with the first batch of NPC conversions from Freedom - I'll send that in a bit too).

Doing some site maintenance today.

*Finding images for sections that don't have them.
*Combined all the artifact sections into one section called Artifacts which you can get to from the main menu, it's just the old PAoA section.
*Turning old BoA section into an Articles section, first article to be posted will be my tie in of info from RaFoaDK about Kalak, and BoA's info about Irikos. Going to be cleaning up some of the contradictions and making them work. This will be mostly for my own campaign and should not be seen as official, anyone is allowed to use the same info in their campaigns as well though.

Ok, got the articles section up, and only have one article in it so far, probably some have been anxiously awaiting for.

Will be getting some more updates and clean ups as the weekend progresses, but won't probably become public till the begining of next week.

Cleaned up some links and other formating.

Thanks to Kamelion (Mark Hope), I have posted the first part of the NPCs from Freedom in the DS NPCs section.

Thanks to Pennarin, I have posted a new undead monster called Ashen in the monster section.

Keep checking back for more updates, plenty more where that came from on the way.

Added Shei-Nad's interpretation on how to clear up the whole Kalid-Ma/Ravenloft contradiction in the article section.

That frees me up from writing it now like I had planned, heh, so I think I am going to take a stab at my writeup for Irikos, got one more article I want to write first though.

Still reading ToO and I think I will have a writeup of the Tribe of One template soon as well.

Plus some more NPCs coming, I will probably start on Black Spine first and let Mark work towards me, hehe. Might as well since I plan a sequel to that module. :D

Ok, added the last article I am going to add for awhile, at least from my hand, if you want to submit one let me know.

Breaking the Silence

Let me know what you think of it, going to start its own thread too.

Also brought back the Gladiator PrC I did awhile back, based on an older version of athas.org's Gladiator class. It isn't 3.5 yet, but I plan to go through the entire site soon and make everything compatible with 3.5.

That's all for now, enjoy.

Looks cool, Nyt

I haven't worked with epic much, so forgive me if I flounder about like an ignorant buffoon here, but two things came to mind:

Should the epic gladiator also have armor optimization (at 25th and 30th) as this ability accumulates as part of a repeated pattern (one every five levels)?

Also, the other epic classes get a bonus feat every 2, 3, 4 or 5 levels above 20. Does the gladiator get this too or is the idea that his exotic weapon feats replace these? I dunno if it's a balance issue but it seems to me like he should get extra feats in addition to class features.

Just wondering really - I'm not at all at home with epic yet. What do wiser and more learned minds than mine have to say?

Probably, I based the writeup on ELH 3.0, didn't realize how much had changed with 3.5, doh!

Yeah, didn't realize 3.5 did this with every class, did a quick skim and thought only a few got it.

Will clean this up as soon as I can.

Actually, except for the bard, all core classes should be handled the same as in ELH.

You could treat a templar just like a cleric, maybe changing some of the bonus feats on his list.

I did a progression of my own for the bard and the gladiator. They're at my site: Library of Urik

I also took a chance on epic beings and silt skimmers. Feeback is appreciated. Please, e-mail me with suggestions and comments.

Best regards,

Gladiator isn't in the ELH. ;)

Ranger had a few changes too, like most of them, it's just a matter of adding a few lines here or there though.

Well, I'm doing 3.5 version, which doesn't give bonus feat lists anymore, it just says you get a bonus feat every x level.

As far as treating the templar as the cleric, that is my plan, with just a few modifications.

Hmmm, a misunderstanding...

I was refering to the PHB, DMG and MM, you know, D&D Core Books, when I said "core classes".

I don't know about 3.5. I checked it out and most of it sucks. There are some good changes (such as some broken spells now fixed), but most of it changes too much the way my party plays, so I'll only be getting those things that enhance the game.

Sean K. Reynolds has a rant on his site exactly about this: that there are some people who play 3e with "touches" of 3.5.

Thanks, Nyt If anyone spots any silly, embarrassing (or just downright dumb) errors in my conversions, bounce me a line and I'll duly amend.

I'm going to do "Arcane Shadows" next instead of "Road to Urik" as my gaming group is playing them in that order. Oh, and I won't be going anywhere near Korgunard's stats. They're irrelevant to the adventure anyway and I'll provide something when athas.org settle on the epic rules (unless, of course, he's been earmarked for conversion by one of the .org guys already...) Anyway, more to follow in a week or so...
