I use the D20Modern Character Sheet and list mutations where it says FX abilities. Does that help?

Don't know of any links, sorry.

Oh bloody hell, I'd just found some nifty GW sheets and I just can't be certain where...

Oh here it is!

http://www.mad-irishman.net

This place has a slew of sheets for all kinds of stuff, even Omega World, from the Poly article that dusted off the old Gamma World!

Now all you need is to find people to play. I don't see alot people posting on this board about Alternity or Gamma World.

Alternity has an excuse because it is out of print, but Gamma World is currently active.

It takes time to prepare a campaign setting, Beavis123. And using the new Gamma World books requires reading them first to get a feel for what you want to do with the setting. Something you know little about, apparently.

I played many games over the years including the original Gamma World. I understand how long it takes to prepare.

All I am saying is I don't see very many people posting here consistenly.

Please Alternity and Gamma Worlds..please post and prove me wrong!!!

That makes four that have posted here, recently. Does Gamma World have a website like Alternity.net where most of your players actually meet at??

Hey Darth Cestual. Tried that link but I couldn't get the GW Character sheet to print. It looks really cool too.

Hmm, I duno Lissa. I don't use D20, so I haven't actually tried to print out a copy. But I agree they look cool!

I'm not aware of a GW site beavis, but yahoo groups has a gamma world group with links to PAForge I believe, for all post apocalyptic fun!

It's got a fair amount of chatter.

Yahoo has a couple groups that cater to GWers, and other PA games. GammaWorld (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/gammaworld/) is pretty active, while GammaWorldd20 (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/gammaworldd20/) is only slightly active, but has a good selection of files and message archives. The PAForge (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/paforge/) isn't bound to one system, though GammaWorld is discussed. Mutaziods (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mutazoids3e/) while not being GammaWorld, shares the same feel as classic GammaWorld, with powerful mutations, interesting creatures, and a good overall system. Join these groups, and contribute. Newcomers are allways welcome, as they bring new ideas.

Some yahoo groups are very active while others are dead as disco. I agree contribution is the key. This board only has a small following. I was hoping to get active more with Alternity.

Just realized that Gamma World is still an active game. Been searching for info. Played GW back in the early 80's. Hope to start up a local gamers group for GW or find an online game soon.

yeah I alternate between a Gammaworld game(( d20 mod version)) a dragonstar campaign that i'm starting next week(( 3.5 D&D spelljammer with sci fi tech)) and exalted because hey everyone needs a bit of anime in their lives.

My gammaworld is a bit complicated though. I run it about 200yrs after the final war. Players are free to play humans-both purestrain and stock, mutants, syntheics, evolved animals and plants.

My tale took place in and around seattle(sp I'm sure), but my seattle is called 1st City and is populated by the 1st group of people I'd figure would jump at a genetic engineering offer-trekkies. 1st city is populated by the decendants of klingons. The design they followed offered redundancies in organs and nervous systems, inhanced musculature and bone growth, heightened senses and an agressive streak. After 200 yrs they no longer believe themselves to be the modified decendants of humans but true and proper Klingons with a culture and civilization all of their own.
The population of 1st city is several thousand, including indentured servants culled from any of a number of the other races. A blend of redesigned Old tech as well as the primative weapontry of the Klingons.
My PCs:
A klingon scout sent to map the outland borders of the Republic
A neoluddite wandering prophet-hunting the 'Sin-thetics' that inspired the Ancients to wipe clean the world.
Zash a barbarian junker mechanic from the savage wastes of Okiehomma
A 'technomage'-a nanosmith who uses nanites but hides it as magic
A wandering healer-an exiled mutant from a clan of Doctors

Wandered the borders of the Republic for several months, mapping the terrail and documenting the tribes and cultures. Returned to 1st city when they heard word of an attack from the Ursine Princes- psyker Evolved polar bears who rule over a vast Canadian kingdom of barbarians and mutant neo-neanderthals...

Yeah i never think small.
