In hopes of acquiring the Key of Destiny this month, I’m going to start the Sylvan Key this Friday night; I have a player who wants to be a Solamnic Knight so I was wondering, since Pashing is occupied by Dark Nights, how to manage the situation? Also, do you have ideas to expand the adventure a little more (4 or 5 sessions at least).

On another topic, the cleric of the group is a Silvanesti and wants to worship Kiri-Jolith, what's the position of the Silvanesti towards this god? Maybe is me but I couldn’t find info in the DLCS about this.

Also, who is the Herald? Where can I find information about him? (novel, DLCS, AoM?)

And any comments or suggestion are welcomed, this is the first adventure I'm going to run in Dragonlance I have been waiting for KoD to play but I cant keep playing short adventures unrelated in Forgotten any more.

Thanks.

A bard who knows all the stories (true or false) of Krynn. He claims that his memories are the memories of Krynn.

Perhaps the solamnic squire/knight is passing through on his way to join the knighthood. Assuming that the party are 1st level then I doubt he will be wearing anything to give away his alliegieance.

If he is a full knight in your game, perhaps he is undercover spying on the actions of the KoN for the knighthood.

I've also had trouble trying to think of ways to expand Sylvan Key to last a few game sessions, because as written it won't even last a whole evening.
The only idea I've been able to come up with so far is to play out something that would bring the characters together, because right now they don't have a reason to know eachother. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling even with that. Only one of my players wrote an elaborate background for his character (A Solamnic squire), so I don't even know enough about the histories of the others to properly introduce them to the game and have them work together.
Oh well, sorry for my brief rant. As I said, the only suggestion I can think of off the top of my head is to write out a little adventure that will introduce all the characters to eachother and then sweep the group up in the events that bring them to Pashin.
