Have bought web-based Doors to the Unknown and it's missing a few bits :hoppingma. If anyone can help I would really, really, REALLY appreciate it.

Am missing the dabus messages and the flyer from those SOCD nutters.

Please ignore my earlier post on the DnD boards, I hadn't seen this board yet and I fully expect it to get deleted.

If you email me privately then I should be able to get you this information by the end of the week.

It's probably not polite (or legal) to post the information here and since it is a good idea (IMO) to respect WotC's copyrights, I'll let you know the gist of the information via email.

Thanks,

Simmo

I'll bump this just once.

Can anyone please help me? It turns out TSR sold this adventure for download without the bits I've found missing. If for no other reason, please spare my PC's my inept attempts at making up rebuses.

That's what Xanxost did, Xanxost made the rebuses up.

Later on, Xanxost bought the paper version, but still hasn't checked to see how far off Xanxost was...hmmm...

Unfortunately Xanxost is in a different state from the Doors to the Unknown that Xanxost bought, so can't go see right now.

Just ot be fair the my hardcopy version has bits missing as well. The whole conversation with Caravan is missing, as well as some of the Rebuses.

I've successfully downloaded a number of PS modules thanks to svgames.com. I remember that one of my downloads was missing big chunks, so I emailed them about it. They checked the files, realized that parts were missing, apologized, rescanned it and I reloaded the now-complete file, all within a couple days of my complaint.

My point is this: If you've paid money to a legitimate company with a licence to sell ESDs, I'm confident that they'll help you get the missing bits.

I did. They refunded my money. What I got is the 'fixed' version, I found a thread on Mortality about the esd's and all the ones that had errors, and Doors tt Unknown was apparently updated.

The origional is missing bits? I noticed about Caravan, that looked like a printing error, but you've got to be kidding me. *sigh*

If I don't come back it's because my PC's have killed me. The first rebus I wrote met with less than warm approval...
