Hello all. This message is directed more towards Jamie, Chris, Margaret, Tracey, and other decision makers regarding the Dragonlance line.

Is there any hope of having official Dragonlance pewter miniatures made again? I know they were made in the past, and the only way they can be found anymore is hoping they show up on ebay. There is at least a modicum of interest in these, as the box set of the heroes of the lance sold for over $165. (I bid on this myself, but lost) I would LOVE to have miniatures of these figures. Is there anyway making these figures again could be a reality, or should I just relegate this as a dream that will never come true? (hoping it's the former, and not the latter )

(the sets were by Ral Partha; Heroes included 10 figures: Tanis, Tas, Flint, Sturm, Caramon, Raistlin, Goldmoon, Riverwind, Laurana, and Tika. Villains included Lord Soth, Kitiara, Verminaard, Ariakus, Tahkisis, Chot Et-Kalin, Fewmaster Toede, Dalamar and the dragon Khisanth.)
Fortunately, I did get lucky and won the auction for Lord Soth and his Death knights (about 12 mounted death knights)

I own a few of them.

Raistlin, Fizban, Kitiara, Goldmoon, x2 Tanis, Laurana, Sylvara & Gunthar.

I would LOVE to see more of these. I bid on ALL the bids about the Draconians set.

There could be a new set about the new heroes & villains... Palin, Mina...

Thanks!

I heard rumours that an expansion pack of plastic minatures was being put out with iconic characters from various settings? Does anyone else have any information about this?

The Arch-Fiends miniatures set is supposed to go out in March, supposed to have some iconic heroes, villains & monsters from specific settings.

Nothing sure tho.

No prob, if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't part with them either, but if there was a shadow of a doubt, I still had to try. :D

I guess if we aren't going to get anything except those little plastic figs from the new miniatures game, than I can cope. I would much rather have the pewter models though, things I can paint myself, rather than having assembly line pre-painted figures out of a lottery style box. Something is better than nothing, but I'm still holding out hope for pewter minis. *crosses fingers*

I recently found out, there was also a boxed set of Draconians, a boxed Huma w/ Silver dragon (Sylvara? can't remember her name), a boxed set of the great red dragon of Krynn (ironically the exact same pose and look of the dragon from the cover of "Legend of Huma" novel), and the big one, a limited edition Takhisis model (5 headed dragon version of her, standing up on her hind legs and looking rather menacing). I may have found a resource that still has access to these models. Once I find out more, I'll let everyone know.

Anyone interested, just let me know. In the meantime, here's a link with a picture of the Takhisis model mentioned above...

I've been hunting these down for a few years now, myself. I have the Huma mounted on the Silver Dragon, Heroes of the Lance set, and Red Dragon of Krynn. Last year I managed to get the 9th mold casted of Tahkisis from Larry Elmore's booth at GenCon '03. So if anyone know's where to find Lord Soth's and the Draconian's that would be great. I'd like to get my hands on those also.

I'm testing a potential resource now. They claim to have everything except the great red dragon of Krynn. I have an order in with them. If all goes well, I'll be glad to share the contact info with you.

Soth's set

I just got Lord Soth's Charge, and it is a very nice set. You get 12 mounted death knights, and Soth as well (13 knight and horse pieces, or about 31 odd pieces alltogether.) I've cleaned the models (removed flash lines and what not) and will be priming them soon. Can't wait to start painting these guys! :D

(note: I got Soth's Charge from ebay, still waiting on the resource mentioned earlier)

Good news! The order I placed worked out. As soon as I get permission to provide their contact info, I can give that to anyone interested in the boxed sets of miniatures mentioned in the earlier posts. I just got the Takhisis boxed set. VERY cool.

Any questions, email me at frostdawn99@hotmail.com
