I was reading through the living greyhawk gazetteer, and got a flash from the past when I read through the blackmoor section.

They refered to the "egg of coot" the alien artifact in the adventures in blackmoore/temple of the frog/city of the gods trilogy.

I was wondering if there were any updates and/or conversions for the equipment in this trilogy?

Also is there any new information for expedition to the barrier peaks. I remember a fairly recent dragon article that was showing creatures that had been released into the ecosystem. Also any conversions of their equipment would be most helpful.

Nothing as yet, and I rather doubt that there is anything in the works.

Mayhap in the future something will be written (or submitted to Canonfire!), but whomever did it would have to be VERY careful.

*Ponders*

I believe that there is something being published called "Blackmoor" in the near future, but I don't know if it has anything to do with the World of Greyhawk.

Given it's futuristic equipment, you could always use what is described in the (new edition) Gamma World setting (from Sword & Sorcery)

That would probably contain what he is looking for, as Blackmoor was in part, combined into the world of Greyhawk, though it is indeed a separate campaign setting.

Rob Kuntz has expressed interest in doing a Return to Expedtion to the Barrier Peaks, so if the Return to Maure Castle in Dungeon is well-received by the fans, perhaps we'll see S3 too! :D

Well, if the buzz about MC is any indicator, I think the illustrious Mr. Kuntz should get started on it. I think there are a lot of people (myself included) who are eagerly anticipating the next Dungeon mag.

Gro, I'm fairly sure it was Gronan or the Pun Demon that was going to add a few levels to the expedition "tower," rather than Kuntz doing a "return to."
