In Pashin: Passing time.

Mar 02, 2004 16:38:20 In the Key of Destiny online preview it says that it is possible for random encounters to occur once every hour in Pashin. What I would like to know is how does one know when an hour has passed ? I have always had this same problem in each and every one of my campaigns.

Mar 02, 2004 17:49:55 it's pretty arbitrary. an hour passes when the dm feels like the players have been sitting around =)

Mar 03, 2004 1:12:37 Pretty much when they need a smack in the head or a kick in the butt to get things going. Either they're shopping and doing other things too long or sitting around waiting for something to happen. In either case they need a smack in the head.... via a random encounter.
