So...what's with the new release dates on dragonlance.com? April, May, and June for KoD, BoK, and ToHS respectively.

Are these legit "official" dates...or are they just guesses for changes because they used to say past dates?

(maybe I shouldn't even open this can o' worms...)

Those are the best, most accurate dates we have at this point. We'll try to update things if there are any more surprises.

It's not realistic, but a really nice surprise would be the moving up of those release dates. ;)

Does anyone know if we yet have a print date for Key of Destiny?

Does anyone know the latest news about Key of Delay (sorry, Destiny)? Has it gone to the printer yet? Is it still scheduled for April, and if so, when exactly?

Cnposner, meet Dead Horse. Dead Horse, meet Cnposner.

Procede with the beatings.

.........

Come on...do you seriously believe that if we did know the date we'd be keeping it to ourselves!?!

When a date is released...it will be widely known, cause it will spread like wildfire.

You can't really get mad at the consumer for wanting a solid date for the module.

People have planned their campaigns around that module and thus want a solid release date. I could care less since I have not even started Sylvan Key yet but I do understand the irritation of those that are ready for the latter portion of Key of Destiny. Can you really blame him for drooling over a product like Key of Destiny ?

I think if he's going to complain about it being late again...I can complain about having to "listen" to him complain.

I do believe the horse is dead...it's a bloody pulp, now.

He asked a week ago...did he think no one answered him because it was fun to torment him? (sorry cnposner...if you're a "she" I...my mistake). No one answered him/her because no one knew. Still no one knows.

When someone in the "community" knows...it'll take all of 2 seconds before it's plastered everywhere. And any amount of asking and pleading (read: "whining") for it isn't going to do any good at this point...except maybe tick people off.

:headexplo

See...this is what happens when innocent people are slaughtered and their bodies mutilated and no one does a gawd damn thing about it...I get in a bad mood and jump all over some poor kid about what I perceive to be whining.

Sorry.

Okay, guys, let's ease up here.

Certainly, this topic has been discussed much in the past, and people have strong feelings on both sides of the issue.

Jamie will let us know when KoD is to be released. So please be patient.

Rabbi Rabbi Rabbi. It is now April- the month for which Key of Destiny was scheduled- so I feel we are entitled to some further information about that product. Doubtless we will simply be told that it has been delayed for another month: SP's product schedules are almost as much works of fantasy as teh books would be if they could ever get them into print.

LoL! I sincerely hope-for those of you who are ready to run the latter portion of the adventure-that they do not push it back again.

Rest assured that getting KEY OF DESTINY on the shelves is the company's top priority! We hope to have more concrete news to post on its release soon.

The BESTIARY OF KRYNN is at the printer right now and we should have a firm street-date for its release to announce soon as well.

Thanks!

And was verbally reamed by Brimstone.

Let this be a warning to all. If you DARE to ask questions about the release dates of KoD, Brimstone will behave rudely and drag on about how you are beating a dead horse. It would seem he has dubbed himself as the only one worthy to ask such questions. I myself will not bring up or complain about the release dates/delays until the release date is pushed back again. All fear the wrath of Brimstone the Hypocrite.

Okay....the childish attitudes and name calling arent helping anyone. If you look at the first thing he actually said to cnposner it was simply telling him that the subject had been done and done over and again.

The products are coming....have patience.

The point is he asked the question 3 weeks after Jamie's last post. Key of Destiny is supposed to be out this month and he wanted to know if the date was concrete yet. He was not rude, nor was he complaining. Brimstone opened this thread with the same query. Brimstone moaned about how he hates listening to him complain. Cnposer posted a question not a complaint.

If I complain, I open myself up to being yelled at for that complaint. I know it and I accept it. Cnposer asked a fair question, not a complaint, and did NOT deserve Brimstone's attitude.

And thanks Lorac, I aim to please.

Boy I sure hope that people will someday learn the old adage that our parents told us is very true.....

"It'll get here when it gets here"

It's amazing really, that people keep arguing about the release of the adventure. Yes, I know we all want the module, and from the web preview, yes it was awesome.....and I am excited about getting it when it is released, but come on, does anyone really think that it has been ready for release all this time and just sitting around? It's quite obvious that there are things dealing with the module that need to be taken care of before it is released to the public.

Complaining till one is blue in the face is not going to get the adventure to come out any sooner.....It will be released when it is ready to be released. Which by the way I am hoping is soon here, because I am itching to read beyond what was in the preview.

Anyhow, as I said before, name calling, and general nasty attitudes arent going to help KoD come out any sooner.

In the words of any great Stan Lee comic.....'Nuff Said ;)

Well...let's see:

I wrote that on March 10th. The DAY that the new dates were put on www.dragonlance.com.

So...since the dates were new, I posed the question on the boards as to whether or not these were real dates. I did this on the boards and not in a private e-mail so that ALL could see the answer...which is exactly what I told Cnposner would happen if there was new info...which on March 10th there was.

Note...the question I posed was not complaining or berrating to Sovereign Press.

Unlike you and Cnposner who constantly and continually are belittling and insulting in your posts. (Although I will concede that Cnposner was only insulting on one post...which was the only one I responded too).

So...before you all laugh and feel "oh oh, he got a good one." Maybe you should look at the facts first.

Nope...the point is, I asked to clarify some new information.

Which is what this is all about. When there's new information it will be given to us.

Cnposner (and yourself) keep blindly asking. "Are we there yet" "Are we there yet" "Are we there yet?"

I asked, "Hey, that sign we just passed...how accurate is it?"

But...the most important point (which seems to escape you Taskr) is that I did it without being accusitory or insulting to Sovereign Press.

It's amazing, isn't it? That the same question you all asked can be asked without adding insults in there?

(oops, I just did that now, didn't I? Well...I never claimed to be perfect...just that I am closer to it than you are, Taskr)

Actually...that's wrong.

When Cnposner asked the question, I said nothing to him. (I didn't have any information...so why should I). No one said anything to him...so that meant no new information.

A week later, Cnposner asked the question again...this time he threw an insult in there with it. That's when I decided to respond.

Sorry, Taskr...as much as you refuse to admit it...there is a difference there. And that is always the difference to where a debate with me will go south. When someone starts getting insulting or condesending, I get mean. I'm never the first one to get insulting (or at least, I always try not to be). But I certainly don't shy away from it either.

So, if it makes you mad that I make fun of you after you've just been a complete jerk to someone...whatever, don't expect me to feel sorry for you.

EVERYONE:

This is the second time that I've had to close a thread regarding the release of Key of Destiny.

It's okay to discuss Dragonlance gaming products on these boards. Business issues, especially complaints regarding Sovereign Press's release schedule, should be taken to Sovereign Press directly, or held on one of their boards.
