Greetings all. Just a quick question. I recently heard about a Dragonlance adventure that was released some years ago by Tracy Hickman, called the Anvil of time. Naturally, my curiosity was piqued and I am interested in acquiring a copy of the adventure, but have no idea how to do so and/or where I can find it. Is this a free adventure that I can download online from somewhere, or one I will have to open up my wallet for and purchase a copy of in some format, and if so, what?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The adventure was published in the anthology BEST OF TALES, VOLUME TWO. I was one of the playtesters, and it was a truly great adventure.

To be completely without shame, I can you that we have the volume in stock and you can purchase it, signed by Margaret Weis, from our webstore: http://www.margaretweis.com/shop/

It's also found in Dungeon issue 86 in full and glorious color.

I can certainly tell you that we've considered the idea. Where it will go from there, only time will tell.

However, if we re-did ANVIL OF TIME we would want to have it fleshed out and expanded, make it on par with Key of Destiny and our other "mega-adventures."

omg. I would totally volunteer to help out with that reimagining of AoT =)
for one thing, flesh out what happens if they leave the anvil at various times...or perhaps even force them to leave and find codes or stuff. Maybe cool time travel puzzles, like plant this seed now so that it will be a tree to prevent this dragon from going here and going there instead etc...

time travel can be fun too =)

I can see it now.....Anvil of Time is revised and added to....becoming the massive adventure........but only after all the era books are published.....this module will allow for play in all of the eras....WOOT!

How many pages of Best of Tales 2 are filled with "Anvil of Time"?
