Thank you. It's kind of you to notice.

But seriously, hang over aside, my PCs are aproaching 20th level and are about to get sucked back into Ravenloft. I thought a Hound of The baskervilles type plot, with a Tarasque rathe rthan a dog would be funny...and quite excellent in terms of Madness and Fear checks...oh and in all round deadliness.

I had better put in a +5 club, or 10 +5 arrows, or something.

Mind you, I expect them to run away like any sensible person and tell their employers 'You really are cursed'

The Darkling Template is in CoD, Jester. (I know, I know)

I think I just found a gap last night. Mist Horror seems to not have been converted yet.

I have an urge to use the half-mindflayer template on some hunting dogs and other animals (though its technically not allowed) cause mind blasting, brain sucking, tentacled dogs are funny and worth a horror check.

And what trackers!!

Really I think the DoD book was great at taking almost every monster from the other two Monster Compendiums that hasn't already been featured in the standard Monster Manual and converting them to 3E.

Really, a sequel will have to rely heavily on new monsters which would be hard without specializing into specific walking or spectral dead or the whole racial vampire expanded.

Might be better to do a book that is a series of rankings and improvements and customizations for monsters. Things that are good but just don't fit into their own VR Guide. Shadows, Ghoul Lords, Dream Monsters, etc. With extra salient powers for the new and old.

Psionic dogs sounds like the hounds of tindalos to me well without the tenticles, What about another useful monster "its a..." (the DM has dyslexia and miss pronounces it) "Monster"
