Does anyone know if anyone ever created a GH glyphs font? I'd sure like to get a hold of that font if it exists out there.

Thanks!

It does exist, and I have it...somewhere...

If I find it I will put a link up.

We'd of course need Folio and 83 box set versions :D

Why don't you ask for the Italicised 98 Player's Guide version also while you are at it.

Or are they non-cannon because they come after Sargent? ;)

I think I may have found it, and of course it's corrupted. Why does this always randomly happen with my TT fonts? There are astological symbol fonts that have alot of the same characters...but not in quite the same style.

I think I will have to create the font myself.

That would be awesomely cool if you created that and your name would echo through the ages as one of the great creators in GH fandom. You could put yourself up there with the likes of Jason Zavoda, Erik Mona, Gary Holian, Eric Anondson, Eric O'Brien, Allen, Denis Tetreault and Rich Trickey.

Though, we'll understand if you don't want to be associated with that last one :D

Real life strikes again.

Well, if you have Campaign Cartographer, here is a set of the symbol fonts for that.

Though that doesn't work in anything else.

I have been working on the 83 version in TrueType sporadically. (i.e. when my boss is not hovering over my shoulder). I want to finish it, but it is taking alot of time.

Maybe I shouldn't waste so much of it on message boards....

Everything from Greyhawk Adventures on is not "canon", but then again this is a game world we're talking about, not Star Trek. I personally don't recognize anything from Greyhawk Adventures onward. Your mileage may vary.

So, which set is the font being based on?

Actually given his nom du forum, I would say it is more because he is a fan of the only setting I've ever seen provoke more virulent canon and edition wars than GH and D&D. That setting being the Third Imperium of the Traveller game.
Not that being a Traveller fan is a bad thing. I'm one, that's how I know what they are like.
