This week, Dragonlance.com presents the third preview of the upcoming Bestiary of Krynn - the Whisper Spider. This particular monster weighs in at 900 pounds, and is large enough to eat a horse! #3 lugnut71 Mar 24, 2004 10:25:23	I like the fact that it is a giant spider that feints in combat to get sneak attacks. Don't know why just think it is cool. Actually I guess I like it because it makes it more unique then other giant intelligent spiders.

Cam, can you elaborate?

#9 cam_banks Mar 24, 2004 14:43:48	Our friend the whisper spider is one of those creatures like the skyfisher, eyewing and 'wari that just never seem to have been given any real reason to exist before yet are unique to Dragonlance. One of the things Andre' and I set out to do was uncover all of the older creatures, forgotten monsters, and badly abused beasts which populated some of the earlier products and bring them up to date for 3.5 and give them a new lease on life. Some of them just can't be helped, but I think folks will like what we did with the ones we ended up reviving. Cheers, Cam

#12 sweetmeats Mar 24, 2004 16:14:41	I don't think much of the Whisper Spider artwork. Looks a bit too cartoon-ish for my tastes. Nice beastie though. I like it's conversion to 3.5 though. Nicely done.
