Thread Title : Dark Crystal and Nagpa

As has been pointed out elsewhere, Nagpa bear a striking resemblance to the Skeksis from the movie Dark Crystal. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Crystal)

Has anyone expanded on these similarities to perhaps flesh out the Vulture Peninsula?

Should Mystara have an equivalent of the Dark Crystal four-armed Mystics?

If i remember the plot of Dark Crystal correctly - and it is about 25 years since I saw it - don't the two get reunited at the end of the film?

And isn't there something about if a member of one of the species dies, so does a member of the other?

In which case - could there be a good peace loving 'anti-Nagpa' in the same area - whose destiny is somehow linked to the Nagpa.

And a whole campaign could be built around finding the problem and reuniting the species
