Key Ability Modifiers for Psionics version 3.5

Hello All,

This is a question that has been annoying me for months. What attribute will the psionics be based off of in Expanded Psionics Handbook. I have reasons to believe it would be wisdom(hoping so for my characters sake). But also have reasons to believe it will be based off of charisma( ).

Int for psions, Cha for wilders, Wis for psychic warriors

huh, thats weird... I was under the impression that it depended on whether you were a telepath, shaper, or what have you... then all your powers were based on that stat.

That was the past.. seems now they are fully and officially Wizard and Sorcerer clones...

The original system was too broken. Setting save DCs on Con? That was just stupid.

More that I was told that if you were a telepath, all your powers were based of Cha, instead of just the telepath ones.

Using any mental ability score shouldn't cause any balance issues, but if the XPH said "use any mental ability score" you want I bet people would be up in arms claiming they were "too powerful".
