Apr 12, 2004 13:11:48 sweet deal.....cant wait....my tax return comes in right around then...If I play my cards right I might just get to go into a gaming store and purchase it rather than having to special order it...that would be sweet!

So...the "April 26"...is that when they're shipped from the warehouses...or that's the date they should be on the shelves in our local stores?

Speaking of which...did you pick up any new big stores, after that last convention, for the BoK? Like Barnes and Noble or B. Dalton or Waldenbooks or Borders or something like those? I only ask because my local gaming store is terrible at getting in Sov. Press books...it was two months before I could get my hands on the DLDMS and I'm still waiting for Kingdoms of the Sword and Stars and Mauraders of the Wolf. I think I've given up hope of them ever picking them up.

My understanding is that is when the book should be on shelves.

That's the real, actual, for-real street release date. Stores may or may not have it by then, as is often the case with new releases.

Jamie has seen a “proof” copy from the printer. I think it’s a safe bet.

You should be able to find our Dragonlance products in larger Borders, Waldenbooks, and Barnes & Nobles bookstores. If a bookstore doesn't have it in stock, they should be able to order it through their system. The book should be on hobby game store shelves within a week of the release date, and in bookstores within two weeks.

Those Sovereign Stone titles are also available in both hobby and book trade through every major distributor, so your store can order it for you. If you have any problems, call our offices and we'll help you out!

And as for the SS stuff...I may just do that. I'm getting sick of being told, "We'll get it next week." Because it's become obvious to me that they're just not ordering it...ever.

Overseas is a little bit trickier to predict on timing. Countries that accept USPS Global Priority Mail usually have it within 10 days of shipping. Others are a bit harder.
