In the recent months since my purchase of the Miniture Handbook I have thought hard constantly on where a great setting for miniture based war campaign could be set. After looking at the new DragonLance and thinking about the upcoming Dark Sun settings, I was going through some old RPG books when I stumbled across my copies of the Poor Wizards Almanac and remembered the tremendous amount of Warfare that takes place over the chronicled years. In short I was instantly hooked on running a war based campaign in Mystara.
Though the more I read into the battles and nations behind them I realised that to effectivly run them there needed to be depth and realism to make it seem like a true war of sorts. In this thinking I began woundering how many other where intrested in the rules presented in the Minitures Handbook and would like to take place in a globalspanning war on the planet of Mystara.
Again in short if you like this idea please repond to it because I am very intrested in setting up a large net community dedicated to reunning a war campaign.

You probably would want to get your hands on the module Red Arrow, Black Shield which details the war between the Known World nations and the invading forces of the Desert Master of Hule. Unless you already have it ofcourse. It should be useful for running other war scenarios aswell, not just the specific one detailed in the module.
