Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has any idea where I can find some up-to-date (3rd edition) information on religions in Ravenloft.

What I am looking for is more in depth than the information provided in the campaign setting. I'm looking for rituals and things such as outlooks on other religions, in perticular Ezra and Hala.

Thanks.

In the gazetteers, there is a lot more indepth info on the local religions, in sidebars such as "Morninglord revisited." Especially helpful is the paragraph of "Dogma" on each one.

IIRC, Morninglord, the Celtic pantheon (including Belenus) and Lawgiver are in Gaz I. Eternal Order and LE Church of Ezra in Gaz II, N and LG Ezra in Gaz III (and maybe Hala?), LN Ezra, Yutow and Wolf God in Gaz IV.

Although I own Gazetteer III I hadn't noticed such a sidebar yet. I will investigate further. Kind thanks.

Ezra gets a section in the DM's Appendix of Gaz III.

Hala might be covered in Gaz V.

In the interm, the only 3E material on Hala I can recall is in Van Richten's Arsenal, under the prestige class for the Hallowed Witch. Of course, much of the story material (if not game mechanics) for Hala from 2E probably still stands, so it wouldn't hurt to check out Van Richten's Monster Hunter Compendium Volume III, under the "Witches" section.

Forgot to mention that there's some halfway decent stuff about Ezra in Heroes of Light.
