Hello.

I'm looking for info about Idee (later Principality of Naerie) and it's history. I don't have the World of Greyhawk box set and internet resources seem quite limited about this place.

If anyone could give me some information about the place, it would be great.

You can send it to shaarlaa@hotmail.com. I'm mainly looking for information what happened in Idee during SB occupation and right before it.

If by official Naerie page you mean Naerie LG page, I happen to be it's designer/webslave:D

I wrote that section for the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer, unfortunately much of the provincial detail I wrote for the former Great Kingdom states was cut during the editing process (Ahlissa was going to get the same treatment as Keoland did in LGJ1 til the journal shrank in size and scope...)

However, I might be persuaded to share my material on Naerie and House Haxx, if I can dig it up.

Send me your needs: psmedger @ canonfire.com

Blimey there must be so much info out there that I don't have! Unfortunately I never saw the Living Greyhawk Journals over here in the UK so I don't have any of that stuff at all.

I have (foolishly) decided to try and stitch together all the available info from the old gazeteers, modules, Dragon, Dungeon, Oerth Journal, Canonfire, LG websites, and forums into one document per country.

The plan is to create a comprehensive chapter for each country that can then be customised when new LG information comes out. The idea is based on the periodical journals that I used to have to update when I was a trainee solicitor. When iformation is added, instead of tagging it on the end or producing a whole new article that excludes a lot of other information, it's stitched into the text on an updated page and the old page can be discarded.

I think it will be a fantastic tool and it would be great if this method of producing gazeteers was adopted by the powers that be, but it is may be impractical to do on a commercial basis because the method requires a lot of time and effort cross-referencing.

There is also quite a bit of contradictory canon, and fan updates that are good enough to be canon but not officially approved, none of which is helping me.

For now, I'm only on Gran March and I haven't fully stitched together the basics, let alone all the extra stuff. Most of it has just been pasted from copyrighted material at this point (just so I can get the basics done) so most of it has to stay put on my computer.

Updates are also proving difficult since most of the LG sites don't post official historical updates online each year.

Still, if there is even more information out there, it's useful to know where it might be found (with a bit of begging) further down the line. I was also going to try and plead with the various Triads to see what retired module info I could get ahold of for location info and npc stats.

I must be mad...
