I was wondering if you folks had any tips for someone about to run a campaign in which the players will be surrounded by an inhospitable, airless environment. Things like useful items, transportation, communication issues, that sort of thing. Little details that might not occur to me.

(Can I get a bonus to my diplomacy if I mention that Spelljammer is one of my two favourite settings? Too bad I didn't get hold of the rules until last year)

In an airless enviro. they players should have some type of suit or at lest a bottle of air. Transportion wise create a generic ship for the characters to find in the Void. Depending on the type of Spelljammer you are playing you'll want to give them a battery type cell instead of a spelljammer head to make it easy and just say that this is the only of its kind and make up a way for it to be recharged. Comm. you could use whispering wind the spell in a wondorous item (walkie talkie) and there would be no limit to the number of words and would go to all connected walkie talkies. You could also give them revolutionary weapons with the same battery tech as the ship but the batteries are small and cause energy damage.
