Are you talking about running the new Dragonlance Key of Destiny module ?

May 04, 2004 15:10:00 I believe the original modules were designed to be played with pregenerated characters (who later became the beloved characters in the books). The War of the Lance source book due out later this year will be updating said characters to 3.5 edition rules.
