Hey.

Does anyone here still have his docs? I used to have them in word files, but I've lost it last time I had to format my PC.

I'd appreciate it if someone could send them to me, or point me towards them. Thanks.

The conversion or the Strutinan, Nyt? ;)

Heh, anyways, got his reply and its still the same jovial and caring strutinan ;), and after bashing WotC a bit, he declined to send me his stuff, since it seems he is now a publisher himself, and wants to re-release his dark sun stuff later when he finishes reworking psionics (his current project).

Anyways. I'll do without it I guess.

Ah well. Nice to see he's still respectful of others.

Anyway, if you want, here's how to bake up a reproduction of his conversion, as last described here:
  • Take AD&D Dark Sun.
  • Sprinkel with 3e words, to taste.
  • Let bake in the sun for 45 minutes.
  • Best when served at room temperature.

hehehe.. Poor zerpentor... ;)

NEWBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

Strutinan was quite a character here about a year and a half ago. He had made a fan conversion of Dark Sun, which he managed to complete while still taking the time to take shots and bashing any and all others who even attempted to present Dark Sun material here, especially athas.org. I remember when TotDL got out... ouch...

Anyways, while he was lacking basic social skills, he had a solid conversion (though I don't remember particularly liking it that much) which covered most of what needed to be converted to play.

Now since I'm re-editing everything from my own work, I wanted to recheck his things for ideas.

I remember him, now. I seem to remember atrocious grammer involved in many of his posts, but that was a while ago and I am getting older....

Yeah, pretty much got the same thing, but it was more geared towards both official Dark Sun releases than WotC itself.

If I dig hard enough I'm sure I can find the old stuff.

Not that it's a huge gold mine of great stuff or anything, just a few nice tidbits, the rest was like flip said, colorful AD&D 2e with some 3e vocabulary.
