Anyone know of any Planescape ORPGS/MMORPGS? MUDS even... I've tried for so long to find one, or even research about creating one myself. Alas I don't currently have the time or patience to put into my programming research. I think Planescape would be the best place for an MMORPG to begin...Sigil more precisely. Any AD&D MMORPG encompassing Planescape would be infinite in its growth capacity, as Planescape can cover all planes: inner, outer, astral, ethereal, prime materials, even the demi-planes.

Not to mention the detail with factions, differing spell effects on the various planes, possibly random portals around Sigil...and portal keys. If a ORPG could be made with PS and utilize as much Planar features as possible the game would be absolutely breathtaking!

Not to mention all the possible races: Giths, humans, elves, tieflings, bariaur, gnomes, dwarves, and countless other possible races.

I'm not much for MUDs what with all the text you gotta read, but I'd love to play a GMUD version.

Or perhapse anyone with the skills wanna make one??

But alas I'm getting a bit too excited. So anyone? :p

The City of Doors

That's the closest I can think of that comes close to what you're thinking of, though as I recall there was a Lady's Cage MUSH at some point or another out there. Dunno if it still is or not.

(CODI is down at the moment I believe)

Yeah I know about the PS MUSH but can't seem to get it to work. Not sure if it's down or what. I emailed them about it and still awaiting reply. Thx.

By the way, I want to make that PS MUD (if I can :p ) yet wish to make it a GMUD, with a somewhat graphical interface. Only thing is, I obviously need to learn a language to build it in. Anyone with the experience have any advice on what language to use? I want as easy a language as possible. Been trying to learn C++ via a book, but I'm hoping to learn something easier whereas I can "work up" to it.

Thx.
