For those new to this forum, I'm working on a VG mod for Civilization 3. Look at the link in my sig for more info.

I ran across a unit that looks like a blue skinned human with asian dress. Anyone have any idea if it could be used as anything in Mystara? I can't seem to find a blue race other than undersea folks. I can't use it that way so if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate them greatly.

The Emerondians are green-skinned, any way you could change their coloring slightly to resemble those folks?

Aquatic elves are also a possibility since they can easily appear outside an undersea climate.

Cant' think of anyone else that might fit at the moment...

Aren't Ogre Mages both blue skinned and dressed in oriental style clothes?

Might be a cool addition to Ochalea (or however it is spelled)?

Diaboli are mauve or lavendar, that's kind of close.

Otherwise ... erm, ... there's always, a chamerleon man standing against a blue backdrop - they're blue :D

The Alphatians were sort of blue-tinted orignally. Maybe now that the continent's sunk they're more blue-skinned...

Ok, so that joke was pretty bad. :embarrass

Thanks guys. I knew I could post here for a good response.

Very funny about those "Blue" Alphatians.

I'm not too familiar with Diaboli, but will look them up on a site. Any links?

I don't know about the chameleon man, but that would be humorous.

:fight!: Ogre-Magi is a great idea, except these units are too short (human sized) and the fight with a sword. Could possibly have them altered but that would take a while.

:whatsthis Emerondians don't ring a bell either, but I'll look into them as well. Any links?

If nothing else fits right, Aquatic Elves will.

Try this one for more on Emerond. Emerondians came to Mystara from space. They are a race of green-skinned humanoids which were introduced in the Voyage of the Princess Ark series.

I have that book. Maybe I should read it again. Thanks.

EDIT: After reading that link. I think they are perfect. They won't have their own nation in my mod (Due to lousy limits to the number of nations available) but hey will be an extra for an small Elven nation that I was putting in that very region. Thanks.

Mmm... I guess Ochalean-werepandas-in-their-human-mystic-form-after-they-ritually-painted-themselves-blue-as-part-of-their-worship-of-the-God-of-Extreme-Sadness isn't such a good idea, huh?

Hello,

I thought that the High Alphatians were light blue. Where did I get this idea? I can't seem to locate the origianal source for this.

Regards and Best Wishes,
