Would this be possible?

Half-Kender, yes. See the Age of Mortals Sourcebook.

Half-draconian, doubtful. In the Doom Brigade I think there is a mention of the Draconians raping human women. This is, of course, off my memory (which is known worldwide to be full of holes).

draconians lay eggs. i don;t think that they can interact with mammals.

Well, trying to be mature about this, I guess draconians do have something similar to mamillian sex organs(not entirely sure how reptiles would go about having sex, never really inquired about it), at least similar enough that engaging in sexual intercourse with a human/elven woman would be considered pleasurable to them(assuming they are attracted to human women), if not their partner. The problem is that even though they can have sex with a human/elf/what-have-you, nothing will come of it. It is impossible for a draconian to impregnate a human woman. As I have said, I don't know anything about reptile reproduction, but their sperm, or sperm equivalent, is not compatible enough with a human, and I assume it would be the same vise-versa. I guess the best thing to compare it to would be a human having sex with an animal. Not that I consider draconians animals. So no, a draconian-kender is impossible, as is a draconian-anything, although I have been wondering about cross breeding between different draconian types(such as bozak-sivaks, or maybe bozak-lightning dracs), draconian-dragonspawn(who knows? Maybe a flame drac would find a red dragonspawn attractive?), and even drac-sligs and drac-bakali.

I've deleted a couple of posts on this thread, as they touch upon material prohibited in the Code of Conduct (namely ****).

I think we can discuss whether a half-draconian/half-kender can exist without having to go there, or into too much detail.

Feel free to continue the discussion.

I think the possibility of different draconian types mating is certainly possible, although I'm not sure what the end result would look like.

I highly doubt that you'd see a draconian/dragonspawn connection. The creation process for a dragonspawn includes the sacrifice of a draconian, so I doubt they'd be too keen on the idea. Noble draconians especially hate dragonspawn, so I doubt your flame drac idea would happen. You never know, there's always the exception to the rule, but it's very unlikely.

I think if the end goal is to have a kender with draconic features, you may want to go with a dragonspawn. A draconian is used in the process to create dragonspawn, and they still have nifty draconian features like death throes. You can have a kender dragonspawn after the War of Souls who has regained free will after the death of Malys, Beryl, or Khellendros.

Likewise, you could just go with a half-dragon template (if you allow that in Krynn).

Oh yeah I forgot that dracos lay eggs so breeding with mammals would not be possible.

Crazy Idea: For some reason some draconian+nondraconian couples have been able to breed. In their offspring, the draconic blood of the draconian has become "pure", resulting in a half-dragon.
I hope you get what I'm trying to say.

And yet, even with that little tidbit of info, is there any way in the Abyss that there could be half-dragon/half-humans?

Shapechanging, Craig. :-) That's the canonical explanation in standard D&D, anyway.

Which _does_ raise the possibility of a half-sivak, interestingly enough . . .

As far as I know half-dragons can only come from male dragons and female non-dragons, ie that is, the dragon has to be their father, not mother.

Which means the only real possibility in Dragonlance as far as I can see would be Linsha and Crucible...and I don't know if Palin needs the stress of a half-dragon grandchild at this stage in his life.

Whoops, sorry about that. I could have sworn that there was a reference to the act in one of the Kang's Regiment books. Perhaps it wasn't specifically stated, but that is what I got out of it. I'll be more careful next time.

It's not really a half-draconian, half-kender, but how about a kender that dies and then gets reincarnated (per the spell) in a draconian body? Granted, Mina is probably the only cleric on Krynn right now who would be powerful enough to cast that spell, but it might make for some interesting stories.
