Tribal Warrior
Hermit
Monk (why does it need a name change anyway?)
Fist of Zerpentor (worth a try)

Mystic just reminds me of an old man with blue robes, a book in his hand and a strange desire to lecture people in the ways of life. =)

May 18, 2004 18:39:06 Actually, the 2e Athasian character kit which was essentially the athasian monk was Sensei. However, there are monk orders on athas, so monks still fit, IMO.

I plan on changing the monk to fit Athas more as well. For those of us using more of a D20 set of rules.

Just rename it Sensei (like in the The Will and The Way for psionic martial artist ) and it will be perfect :P Keep up the good work.

Only seeking a good Trader prestige or core class one day.

I search for one who is more simple and light.

Jun 03, 2004 17:55:35 Ok, going to do some changes to the Mystic, this is why:

Too close to the monk, going to change the monk to a psi-monk variant for Athas and call it good, flavor and all aside it should be fine otherwise, but since I'm running more of a D20 Dark Sun and others are wanting to see it, then I will create a psi-variant.

The Mystic, flavor and all will become more of a Villichi-like PrC later to be released in my Villichi project once I get more out of my current mental state and actually feel like working on it more.

Expect to see Psi-Monk up sometime tonight.
