The Midnight D20 Setting introduces a whole new range of half-breed races such as half-dwarves, Dwarflings (Dwarf-halfings), Elflings (Elf+halfling), Dworgs (Dwarf+Orc).

It does seem likely that such races also would exist on Mystara. What do you think? Has anyone ever used any of these mixed races? I know Orcs of Thar included rules for mixing humanoids (who frequently interbreed).

At one point I guess it just becomes too much of a mss to be worth the while though...or not?

Ofcourse, Im not even getting into the Half-elf debate.
And whatabout Half-Rakastas and Half-Lupins?

Seeing as how the two races hate each other so intensely, I don't see how the mother of a dworc (dwarf-orc) would ever allow her child to live...

But hey, it's fantasy, anything can happen!

Ah, do not underestimate a mother's instinct! Obviously, I'm not getting into a pro-life debate here, but Orcs and Dwarves hate eachother just as much in Midnight, if not more. In fact, the constant warfare the orcs are waging upon the desperate dwarves is probably the main reason why there are so many dworgs. Ofcourse, the desperate situation of the dwarves in that setting may also be a reason why the dwarves would keep their offspring. OTOH, I dont see any reason why not allow Dworgs if Half-orcs are allowed.

The problem with the Midnight races though, is that they are all LA+1, so they would have to be reduced slightly in power to be properly integrated into Mystara.

What other half-breeds do you think should be allowed? I think the Elflings are very appropriate in Mystara, given the close relationship between elves and halfings, err Hin.
