Has anybody converted or typed up the first novel into a 3E adventure? If so, could you email it to me? Anything would help! I'm starting up a campaign soon and wanted to use that rather than Freedom to start the campaign.

an interesting idea.
but ill hazard you against too close a reinactment. That was the major problem with the Dragonlance adventures. The players who have read the novels got annoyed at the break from the events in the novels when it did, and were bored and expecting things that are about to happen when it didnt break from the novels.
the players who didnt read the novels would invaribly go off track majorly (like having a character deciede they hate tithian and try to kill him in the opening chapters) at which point the novel itself isnt a guide anymore, or will feel railroaded in a direction they dont necessarily want to go in.
also since the events of that novel are split between two real groups (those who are slaves and those running free) it wouldnt be a very cohesive group and adventure.

Hmmm, good points there ash. Although I'd still like to see what people have done as I know at least one DM on this board has been running it. And it doesn't necessarily have to be an EXACT copy of the novel, just the basics. PC's escape slavery, hunt down Nok, get spear, kill Kalak. Tithian I should be able to handle as an NPC as long as I make him appear sincere to the PC's all the while, and don't provoke them too much. He is such a great villain though that I absolutely must get him statted up and ready to go.
