I have a friend (DM) who's birthday is in 3 days...I was going to get him this book but I dont know if I should. He has many many DL books and knows a crap load about Dragonlance. So should I get him this book? Yes we are in a DL game...;) Sooooo post your opinions

Yes! By all means! If your DM loves the setting and knows alot about it...and is running a DL game then it will be indispensable to him.....I have two actually. One that I use for behind the screen, and the other for the players to refer to race and spell info with.

Go to where it says "Wizards Community Boards" at the top, click on it, and it'll take you to the boards home. From there, you get an option to the right to log out.

Urmmm, yes and no. If you don't know much about DL, it is an OK book because the geography section is really weak considering the amount of pages, price of the book and sheer VOLUMES upon VOLUMES of source material available to the writing team. Overall the book really expresses the DL flavour quite well and the fiddly bits about history and the NPCs are really cool but I just felt gyped by the geography section. I hope the Gaz fixes the problem a bit and I would love to see a Kalamar Atlas style book of maps come out...

If he is running a 3.0 or 3.5 edition DL game its a must have book. I heartily recommend it to any D&D playing fan of DL.
