Anyone else out there use home grown domains?

I personally prefer it, I mean I think all the others are interesting and all, but they're not mine, and that to me makes it alien. I like having that familiarity of everything in my realm.

I think it's why I prefer home grown games in general to established worlds.

Anyone else? IF so how about a description?
