So I'm currently playing a PS character (Born in Sigil, calls himself a Free Leaguer, know planar trade as one of him languages, etc) in a 3rd party campaign setting (basicly D&D in space, magic and technology together) who has almost gotten to the point where he could planeshift himself back to the Outlands, then back to Sigil via a portal from one of the gatetowns. What I'm wondering is, would he get flayed/mazed for coming back with crates of plasma and laser weapons and selling them to Anarchists and Doom Guard members?

Just a thought.

Is it possible to planeshift from Sigil (without using a portal)?
And moreover: "Sure, this is a weird place, but it ain't science-fiction. Don't stick in stuff that isn't medieval in flavor. It's pretty obvious that spaceports wouldn't belong, but a DM's got to resist the urge for things like blasters as neat weapons, magical devices that feel a lot like computer networks, intra-city teleportation chambers, and crystal ball phone systems. " (from "Sigil and Beyond")

To answer your question, he wouldn't even be allowed to enter Sigil. If he managed to sell lasers to the Sinkers, he'd have more or less every sentient entity in Multiverse after him.

If your character has access to both plasma rifles and Sigil, then other characters do too, and they're already pretty common in the city (or shortly will be). The Harmonium has them as standard issue equipment and can retaliate against the Anarchists in kind.

The Lady of Pain will likely do nothing, which is what she usually does. What you have to worry about is Estavan of the Planar Trade Consortium hasseling you for cutting into his business, the rogue asura Koe trying to buy weapons from you to sell to the fiends, and the Doomguard busily reverse-engineering the weapons so they can make them themselves and undercut you in price.

The Doomguard are the primary weapons manufacturers in the City of Doors, remember. And they've sworn a blood oath not to start a conflict againt the other factions, though they've said nothing about attacking other parts of the multiverse. However, not all Sinkers wish to increase Entropy. Some are content to let it run its natural course.

Ordinarily, it's true that lasers don't belong in Sigil, but if you're already playing in a futuristic campaign I don't see why Sigil shouldn't be upgraded technologically as well.

Glorbak says:
As long as I get a discount, as in free, as in if you don't give me what I demand I'll kill you. I won't have a problem with it.
Glorbak has spoken.
