#1 zombiegleemax Jun 03, 2004 18:43:28	I've been hearing quite a bit about a so-called Dragon Sorceror in one Ulin Majere. I remember a little about the fellow from Rabe's Dragons of a New Age, but nothing about him being a Dragon Sorceror, and what that even is. Is there a book somewhere I can obtain? Or something?
#2 Dragonhelm Jun 03, 2004 19:29:19	There's a SAGA gaming book called Heroes of Sorcery that details a role called a Dragon Mage. Basically, a sorcerer and a dragon bond. The Dragon Mage is then able to draw magical power from the dragon, thereby enhancing his magic.

If they're opening the role up for wizards, then maybe, but as it stands now, the dragon mage is a sorcerer role. I would think it would be described down the road some. Same for dragon mystics.

If the Towers of High Sorcery book focuses solely on Wizards...I'm gonna be ticked. This book needs to focus not only on wizards...but sorcerers too. Especially in this time period post-WoS where we don't know how they will react to one another. To ignore that and focus solely wizards would be a great disservice...but then again, not surprising.

I imagine that the book will mainly deal with the WOHS, with maybe some information on playing / interacting with renegade Wizards as well. Still, it would be invaluable to get some hard-and-fast confirmation as to whether the Robed Orders will be persecuting practicioners of primal sorcery as renegades, as has been hinted at already. An all-out thaumaturgical war between wizards and sorcerers won't be particularly good news for Ansalon, but it would make for some interesting story ideas.
