The Cleric just pulls on their medallion like they are taking the medallion off. Except a new medallion is in their hand, and this medallion has the symbol of the god/goddess that the new cleric chose as his/her patron deity.

oaky..I think I got it...
but now something else is annoying..

in the Bestiary of Krynn there is a monster called Daemon warrior (by the way I would be very happy to know what is the diffrence betwerrn dAemon and demon)...
so its says that clerics can do some vicous attack to them but their medallion will be destoryed...

but when i think about it..is it a penalty?
I mean i can take with me some stocks of simple medallions and use them one after another... (each time my medallion is detoryed i make a new one)

Thing is, they can't just create a stockpile of them... in order to create a medallion of faith, the creator must be giving it to another person who doesn't have a medallion.

Oh, and you need a medallion of faith to create a medallion of faith.

Two clerics of mishakal can't just stand beside each other taking off their medallions so the other can give them a new one, making a huge pile on the floor.

AND, on top of all that, you can't cast cleric spells without a medallion of faith. So smack a Daemon Warrior with one, and you're effectively spell-less for a while.

That's why that "vicious attack" is so costly.

You can't cast spells above 3rd level without a medallion of faith. I think it should be you can;t cast any spells without a medallion though.

It's a relic or a statue of some sort...it was in the "Sylvan Key" adventure in the back of the DLCS. I don't remember what it was called though.

The Ghost Blade adventure is the one that includes the statue in mention, although I didn't personally see mention of it in either adventure. I just noted that it was listed after the Ghost Blade adventure as one of two unique items in that adventure, the other being the Ghost Blade.

Statue of E'li: Statues of E'li, such as the one found in this adventure, are relics imbued with divine energy, usually placed within small shrines where pilgrims may seek guidance. When the statue is touched by an individual of pure heart (any good alignment), the statue glows with a flickering radiance (as a continual flame spell). Anything bathed in the light is treated as if under the effects of a consecrate spell (this only functions during one of the eras in which the gods are active on Krynn). Any creature filled with evil intent touching the statue is burned by the flickering light (which inflicts 1d4 points of damage during eras where the deities are not active, 2d4 points of damage when the gods are present).

A secondary function of these statues is to allow petitioners to directly petition the gods of Light to be accepted as a cleric. If the petitioner is true, then the statue will create for them a medallion of faith.
