Help fleshing out a character plz

Jun 06, 2004 21:09:32 Ok So I am going to have a Favored Soul who is from Ergoth, South part. I didn't know much history on the Ergothians I was wondering if someone could give me some help on that. Also I was thinking of the deity i'm the Favored Soul of being Habbakuk, now the DLCS book says that Ergothians favored diety is Majere, so would it be wrong to have Habbakuk be mine? By the way the setting is just post WoS.

Will you be taking any ranks in profession: mariner?

If so, I'd say use Habbakuk, otherwise, I'd probably stick with the favored diety of my people.

Well you are forgetting about animals, I could take Handle Animal, why do I have to be a mariner to have Habbakuk like me?

Just because Majere (or Manthus) is one of the more popular deities in Ergoth, it doesn't mean he's the only one. All of the gods of Light are revered, such as Kiri-Jolith (Corij) and Mishakal (Mishas), so you should feel entirely justified in taking one of them as your character's patron.
