Ok, I have played D&D since I was in the 4th grade back in 82. The best setting I have ever played in though had to be in the Gazeteer realms. Now I am living in Tokyo and forming a new group here to play and I would love to get my grubby little hands on some of those suppliments that detailed the individual lands. Any good sites I could visit barring trying to find them on eBay?

There's a list of links at http://dnd.starflung.com/links.html#products for online carriers of out-of-print material. I've only used Dragon's Trove, myself. The owner's very easy to deal with. The prices may seem slightly high, but you get what you pay for- he's very meticulous about the grading and condition of the books.

If you don't mind PDF files, you can probably find most of the basic D&D stuff at http://www.rpgnow.com/default.php?cPath=1_295& it looks like they have at least half the Gazetteers. Be forewarned, though, some of the scans are very poor, and there's been complaints on the MML about missing parts. Someone who's purchased them might be able to share their experience, good or bad.

Finally, the Shadow Elves and Savage coast books are free downloads from the WotC D&D site.

I'd second that. The Dragon's Trove is very good, and reliable.

You can also find a lot of these modules and things on Ebay. I've gotten some things really cheap, and then some that I feel I probably paid a little too much for, but I guess it mostly balances out.

They can also be downloaded on the Vaults of Pandius website, where they're even in html format.

Thanks for that info. I am really stoked to run a Mystara campaign using the old Gazateers. Now if only I can convince the others to go with it as well. We are doing a GM rotation so everyone can both play and GM.

I have bought both Gazetteers and old modules from SVGames.com in .pdf form. A few of the scans are of questionable quality and some map parts are missing, that's true, but at $4,74 apiece it is a bargain for these old items that have been out of print close to 20 years!

Furthermore, I believe SVGames also sell actual issues of the old material but then you'll have to pay shipping in addition to the stated price.

If you have a website yourself and can provide some way for visitors to upload files to it, who knows, maybe the tooth farie will leave you a little surprise? ;)
