Well...I don't really know why I'm posting here...as the most of the LoH comic adaption quit coming here as soon as the books came out (DH excluded from that "most," of course ;)) But I'm going to post a quick review of Issue #5 anyway.

Well...I was a bit aprehensive about this comic after last months...but I'm not about to give up just yet. The comic is back to just one artist! Woo hoo! And the art is great. Andrea De Vito (I think that's the name) is the illustrator for this book. Although it says Rael on the cover...

Anyway, aside from being good art, it is also clearly Rael's design (well...I say "clearly" but really I have no idea if Rael designed the first two books...either way, the art design used in this book is the same as what Rael uses in the first two).

Anyway, the story is good. Very little action, but the pacing is excellent, and we finally get to see Magius' citadel! I liked it. Oh and Magius...yeah...creepy, he's very creepy.

Anyway, one really wouldn't be able to find anything wrong with this book, I don't think. At least, it'd be hard to do so. I am pleased with it...and once again feel confident that DPB will do a good job with the books (just stick to one artist per book, please!) :D

P.S. Oh, and bravo on the design of Takhisis!! :bounce:

Thanks.

I have no idea. The only thing I know is that the Trade Paperback of Issues #1 - #6 will be out in...September perhaps? Maybe October? Anyway...it's already up on Amazon.com. So, once it comes out, you should be able to get it that way.

That raises a question, too. DH...do you know if they will go straight into Issue #7 in August? Or will there be a break between #6 and #7? (Or Vol. 1, #6 and Vol. 2, #1...what ever the notation is that they go with)

As far as I know, they're going straight into issue #7. Trade for issues 1-6 should be out after issue 6 hits the stands.

Thanks for the kind words, by the way. I'm working harder and harder on getting the descriptions down for the artists and providing visual references.

I was real happy how Takhisis turned out. The pic of Paladine is actually based on a pic of Bahamut from one of the D&D books he appeared in recently.

Oh crap! That was supposed to be Paladine!?! Cool. I need to look at that again. (I just assumed because of Gwynneth in the fore ground that the silvery dragon was supposed to be Heart, not Paladine).

Keep up the good work, bud! I look forward to next months.

Mile High Comics (http://www.milehighcomics.com) will ship just about anywhere.

I cannot guarantee that they will have the backissues in stock however. They just finished up a huge online sale, and the LoH comics have been selling well anyways.
