Jun 19, 2004 18:21:06 Does anyone know where to find good resources for 2nd edition? Everywhere I look I see things for 3rd, conversions to 3rd, etc. Any ideas?

Jun 19, 2004 19:22:04 Few are those who still play 2E and visit these boards. Fewer still are 2E sites that have fresh material.

You can try to find out by looking at every site listed under Grummore's master list, on his site: The Silt Skimmer. There must be about 50 sites in there. Don't look further, it is the largest list of Dark Sun sites on the net.

Jun 19, 2004 19:23:11 Well, some of the stuff on Athas.org is 2nd Edition - like the Villages of the Wastes release.

For the published 2nd Edition material, I recommend checking out SV Games, which has PDF releases for about $5 for each of the old 2e books. You can probably also find them for sale up on eBay, if you'd prefer hardcopy versions.

Jun 20, 2004 4:31:48 I'm also a 2e player so let me know if you need any help. As for all of my 2e materials I buy from rpgnow.com. I like the interface much better than svgames and the prices are just about the same. Good luck with your hunt.

Jun 20, 2004 5:00:12 also one thing to keep in mind is that the 2e ds pretty much ended soon after the revised boxed set. so you timeline and sorcerer kings and what not will be different from alot of these 3e folks.
